Bayo's Death Was a Test of Faith - Akinlade

Hon. Adekunle Akinlade has described as a test of faith, the death of his bosom friend and former operation manager of Clevland Investment Management Limited Kwara State Branch, Deacon Bayo Babarinde.

Deacon Bayo Babarinde was killed by unknown assailants at the Redemeed Christian Church of God, Basin area of Ilorin, two weeks ago. He was called out of the church and shot dead while the  Sunday service was underway. The police has since taken over the case and the investigation is ongoing to nab the killers.

Triple A, who joined Bayo's family, friends and acquaintances to lay his body to rest at his homestead in Owode - Idiroko area of Ogun state, urged the congregation to weep no more but take solace in the fact that; he led a fulfilled life as a Christian who devoted most of his life to righteousness and services to humanity and God.

"I have since known that God does not give unto a man what he cannot bear. Bayo's death is a burden on us and we must accept fate. I am saddened by his death because he was a reliable, trustworthy and responsible family man, but I believe God knows better. I will forever miss him and I pray that; God rest his soul in peace", Akinlade stated.

It was a short funeral service which started with the service of songs, followed by interment. The session was led by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, IPC 4, Ilorin and Lagos Evangelist missions.

We pray God forgive and rest late Bayo Babarinde's soul in eternal peace, amen.
