The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives flagbearer for Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, Dr. Oluwatoyin Emmanuel Taiwo has expressed profound appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders and members following his emergence at the party’s primary election ahead of the 2027 general elections, TMnews report 

In a statement issued after the primary election, Dr. Taiwo described his victory as a collective mandate and a reflection of the unity, trust and shared vision of APC members across the constituency.

He specifically thanked elders, party executives, youths, women groups, Ogun West Professionals for YAYI, religious bodies, delegates, volunteers and other card-carrying members of the APC for their overwhelming support and endorsement during the exercise.
According to him, the peaceful, fair, transparent and inclusive conduct of the primary election demonstrated the maturity of APC members and strengthened confidence in the internal democratic processes of the party.

Dr. Taiwo noted that emerging as the APC flagbearer was not merely a personal achievement but a collective commitment to delivering purposeful, inclusive and people-oriented representation for the people of Yewa South and Ipokia Federal Constituency.

He further commended party stakeholders for maintaining unity and orderliness throughout the exercise, stressing that the successful conduct of the primaries reinforced the strength and cohesion of the APC as one political family.

The APC candidate also acknowledged the contributions of various support groups and community leaders whose encouragement, prayers, and active participation contributed to the success of the primary election.

“As we now set our sights on the 2027 general elections, this mandate represents a sacred covenant of trust between the people and us. I remain committed to serving as a listening leader, responsive representative and public servant guided by integrity, accountability and the collective interest of our people,” he stated.

Dr. Taiwo called on party members and supporters to remain united and continue working together to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming general elections while ensuring greater democratic dividends across all wards and communities within the federal constituency.
