Adeyemo Commissions 22 Projects in Odeda
Odeda, Ogun State
Less than a year into office, the Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. Dr. Folasade Adeyemo, has commissioned over 22 projects spread across the council’s ten wards.
The projects include motorised boreholes in several communities, classroom construction and renovations, road grading, and administrative upgrades at the council secretariat.
Governor Dapo Abiodun, represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, commended Adeyemo’s efforts, describing her as a model of effective grassroots leadership.
Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, also praised Adeyemo for ensuring all wards benefited equally, noting she even built a new school in Obete Ward where none previously existed.
Dr. Adeyemo, who also chairs ALGON in Ogun State, said the projects were part of her mandate as “a grassroots soldier” of the governor, committed to bringing democracy’s dividends closer to the people.
Community leaders, including Mr. Dogo Aliu of the Arewa community and Mrs. Aderonke Oliyide of Ikatitun, expressed gratitude for the interventions, especially in education and water supply.
