Nigeria's Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, on Wednesday met with the United Nations Budget Chief, Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, during a networking session on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The high-level engagement focused on building multilateral global support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's proposed State Police Initiative, which is aimed at strengthening internal security and enhancing community policing across Nigeria.
