OGUN WEST INDEPENDENT CHAPEL HAILS OLANREWAJU ON RE-ELECTION AS OGUN NUJ CHAIRMAN

The Ogun West Independent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated Comrade Wale Olanrewaju on his re-election as Chairman of the Ogun NUJ Council.

In a congratulatory message signed by the Secretary of the Chapel, Mr. Temidayo Babalola, the Committee and members described Olanrewaju’s re-election as a clear demonstration of the confidence reposed in him by journalists across the state.

The statement noted that the election, which held at Iweiroyin House, Abeokuta, on Thursday, also produced other elected officials who were commended for their emergence.

According to the Chapel, Comrade Olanrewaju’s victory reflects his selfless service, steadfast commitment and resilience in promoting unity and growth within the Ogun NUJ Council. His leadership style, the statement said, has continued to inspire hope and strengthen the Union statewide.

The Ogun West Independent Chapel particularly appreciated the Chairman’s first tenure, during which the NUJ Independent Chapel, Ogun West, was inaugurated, describing the move as historic and a testament to his inclusive leadership and commitment to grassroots development.

“This singular achievement remains deeply cherished by our members and is very great in our sight,” the statement read.

The Chapel assured the re-elected Chairman of its unwavering loyalty, cooperation and full support throughout his second tenure, expressing optimism that greater achievements would be recorded within the Chapel and the Ogun NUJ Council as a whole.

The message concluded with prayers for divine guidance, strength and wisdom for Comrade Olanrewaju as he works to fulfil his campaign promises and lead the Union to greater heights.
