TMnews Publisher, Temidayo Babalola Receives Excellence Award in Celebrity Journalism
The Publisher of TMnews Magazine, Temidayo Babalola, has been honoured with the Excellence Award in Celebrity Journalism at the 2025 edition of the National Media Community Award, organised by the National Media Community Network.
The prestigious honour was presented in Lagos by the Executive Producer of the award body, Comrade Joshua Oloko, in company of the Publisher of Islander TV, Alhaji Ola Muhammed.
Speaking after receiving the recognition, Babalola described the award as a testament to selfless service, professional dedication, and unwavering commitment to community growth and development. He expressed gratitude for being counted worthy of the honour, noting that such acknowledgements “further inspire greater responsibility in the media space.”
“As media practitioners, we will continue to use our tools, strength and every opportunity to uphold good reportage with resilience, ensuring Nigeria remains a haven for all,” he said.
Babalola dedicated the award to his son, Nelson Daniel Babalola, whom he described as “a role model in the making by God’s grace.”
He also extended special appreciation to prominent personalities who have supported his journey, including Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing, Chairman of Adron Group; Prince Samsudeen Apelogun, National President of ACOMORAN; Otunba Titus Babajide Opresso; AIG Ahmed Iliyasu (Rtd.); Alhaji Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, National Chairman of PCRC and Prince Uba Adams, OC Zonal Oracle Unit.
He affirmed that the award will continue to motivate him and the TMnews brand toward deeper impact, stronger community engagement and responsible Journalism.
