In a show of solidarity and deep respect, Hon. Fayomi Abraham Ajibola (Fayab) today visited the residence of the late Hon. Obanla in Ipokia to commiserate with the bereaved family following the passing of the revered political icon, who died yesterday and was buried according to Islamic rites.

Hon. Fayomi, who described the late Obanla as “one of the strongest pillars of political stability and grassroots leadership in Ipokia Local Government,” prayed for Allah’s mercy on the departed and comfort for the family he left behind.

He urged the family to take solace in the impactful legacy of the late statesman, noting that his contributions to the political development of Ipokia will continue to inspire leaders for generations.

Hon. Fayomi further reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the family and sustaining the values that the late Hon. Obanla stood for, emphasizing that Ipokia has lost “a leader whose shoes will be difficult to fill.”
