Temidayo Babalola is a seasoned media entrepreneur, publisher and advocate for community development. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of TMnews Magazine, a reputable print and online platform (www.tmnewsmagazine.com) recognized for its credible news, insightful analysis and strategic advertising. The online edition of TMnews is also Google AdSense-approved, reflecting its professionalism and global standards.
He is also Chief Executive Officer of Temis Prime Media Ventures (Temis Media), a reputable outfit specializing in event management, beauty pageantry, branding and media consultancy. Babalola provides strategic direction while ensuring that the group’s initiatives highlight stories of leadership, innovation and service to humanity.
For over a decade, he has successfully hosted the flagship TMNews Summit & Awards, a prestigious national platform that celebrates individuals and organizations committed to advancing humanity and driving positive change across Nigeria. Beyond honoring leadership, innovation, and social impact, the Summit also serves as a vital forum for educating the youth and the general public, while fostering meaningful dialogue on critical issues affecting our communities.
Beyond his publishing career, Babalola has served since 2022 as the Senior Special Adviser on New Media to the National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), where he promotes technology-driven communication between law enforcement agencies and the public. He is an active member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and currently serves as Secretary of the Ogun Council Independent Online Chapel Committee. Babalola is also a proud member of the Celebrity Journal Publishers’ Association of Nigeria (CJPAN) and holds the esteemed designation of Senior Professional Member of the Institute of Information Management (IIM-Africa).
Through the TMNews Summit & Awards, he has built a prestigious platform that brings together political leaders, business executives, security chiefs, innovators, and community figures to address pressing national issues while honoring excellence and impactful leadership. Over the years, the Summit has celebrated distinguished personalities such as H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy (2024); Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior (2024); AIG Ahmed Iliyasu (rtd.) The 12th edition of the Summit is scheduled for 19th October 2025 at the prestigious Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, with Babalola serving as Executive Producer.
Babalola’s influence also extends into strategic partnerships. He is the official media partner of Adron Homes and Properties, Nigeria’s largest real estate company, where he was recognized as Best Media Partner of the Year (2023) and gifted a brand-new Toyota Camry.
His passion for events and cultural promotion is long-standing. In 2011, he organized the Miss Rock City Beauty Pageant in collaboration with Olumo Rock Tourist Centre, Abeokuta, fostering unity in Ogun State while promoting tourism through indigenous fabrics.
In 2021, he hosted the Ogun All-Inclusive Reality Show and Concert, an event endorsed by the Ogun State Government that celebrated and promoted young talents in music, comedy, and dance. Over the years, he has also partnered with ACOMORAN, the national transportation union led by Prince Adebayo Samsudeen Apelogun and has contributed to several notable national and international projects, including the Festival of Arts and Cultural Exhibition (FACE) Awards in Atlanta, USA (2014), the Yoruba Movies Academy Awards (YMAA) in 2012, as well as strategic social media campaigns for Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade during the 2015 House of Representatives and 2019 Ogun Governorship elections.
A strong advocate of lifelong learning, Babalola completed a Certificate Program in Media at Lagos Business School in 2023, sponsored by Nestlé Plc, and has also undertaken several trainings in media, security and communications management. He holds a National Diploma from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and a Higher National Diploma (HND) from Adecom Business College. He is currently a final-year B.Sc. Computer Science student at Southwestern University, Nigeria, reflecting his dynamic approach to technology.
In addition, he earned an international certification in Introduction to Cybersecurity from Cisco Networking Academy in 2025, approved by Lagos City Polytechnic. He was also certified by Pan-Atlantic University in 2024 after completing a Media Roundtable program.
Born on 14th October in the early 1980s in Idiroko Town, Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State, with ancestral roots in Ogbagi Akoko, Ondo State, Babalola is deeply connected to culture and service. On his birthday in 2023, he was specially honoured with an award plaque by the Nigerian Navy School of Music, Ota, presented by the Commanding Officer, Lt. Cdr. O. Olaiya.
He is married and blessed with a child. His head office is situated in Ota, Ogun State, where he also resides. Widely respected for his consistency, vision, and dedication to using media as a tool for leadership and nation-building, Temidayo Babalola continues to stand out as a storyteller, convener, and changemaker whose work embodies collaboration, responsibility, and recognition as instruments for building stronger communities
