LAGOS GOVERNMENT HONOURS ADRON HOMES FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT

The Lagos State Government has honoured leading real estate firm, Adron Homes and Properties Limited with an Appreciation Award for its outstanding contributions to sustainable urban development in the state.

The recognition was conferred by the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during the 2025 World Habitat Day Celebration held on October 6th in Lagos. The global event, themed “Urban Crisis Response: Flooding in Focus,” convened policymakers, industry experts, and stakeholders to deliberate on innovative strategies to mitigate flooding and enhance environmental resilience across urban centres.

Presenting the award, the Honourable Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide commended Adron Homes for its “outstanding service and support toward sustainable urban growth.” He noted that the company’s investments in housing, infrastructure and community planning have significantly complemented the state government’s mission to build inclusive, livable and resilient cities.

Receiving the award on behalf of the company, the Managing Director, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Government for the recognition.

“We are deeply honoured by this recognition from the Lagos State Government. It reiterates our commitment to nation-building through real estate innovation and responsible urban development,” she said. “At Adron Homes, we believe in building communities that foster growth, safety and sustainability. We will continue to support the government’s efforts in creating livable cities through proper planning, environmental responsibility and inclusive development.”

Other top executives of the company, including the Deputy Managing Director (Sales and Marketing), Mr. Teddy Babatunde, Tpl. Dipeolu Rotimi, and Tpl. Waliu, were also present at the event, joining in receiving the award and engaging with other key industry players.
