Oloyede, Others Decorated as Assistant Comptrollers
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has decorated newly promoted officers with their new ranks, following the approval of the promotion of 3,312 senior officers across various cadres.
Recalled that the National Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Abdullahi Maiwada, had in a statement announced that the Service Board, during its 63rd regular meeting held on September 2 and chaired by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, approved the promotions ranging from Comptroller of Customs (CC) to Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II).Among those elevated is the former Public Relations Officer of the Idiroko Command, Bukoye Oloyede, who was on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, decorated with the rank of Assistant Controller of Customs. Oloyede rose from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Customs to his new position, marking another significant milestone in his distinguished career.
The decoration ceremony was part of the Service’s broader efforts to reward hard work, dedication, and professionalism among its personnel.
