Babajide Family Marks 3rd & 14th Year Remembrance of Late Matriarch and Patriarch

The Babajide family will be observing the 3rd remembrance anniversary of Late Deaconess Alice Babajide and the 14th remembrance anniversary of Late Pa. Babajide Fadonugbo at the open field of Olokoeye of Okoeye Palace, Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State.


The memorial gathering will draw family members, friends, church leaders, and dignitaries to celebrate the enduring legacies of the late matriarch and patriarch.

Late Deaconess Alice Babajide, remembered for her deep Christian faith and commitment to women and youth empowerment, was widely respected within the church community and in Ipokia at large. Family members describe her as a devoted mother whose life of service and compassion continues to inspire the younger generation.

Her husband, Pa. Babajide Fadonugbo, who passed away fourteen years ago, was a respected community elder and custodian of tradition. Known for his wisdom and fairness, he was often sought after for counsel and mediation in communal matters, leaving behind a legacy of unity and peace.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Otunba Titus A. Babajide, JP, Asiwaju of Ipokia Kingdom and Chief Executive Officer of Oppresso Petroleum Nig. Ltd., said the dual remembrance is both a solemn reflection and a celebration of lives well spent.

 “Our parents lived exemplary lives rooted in faith, humility, and service. Their values continue to shape our family and guide our contributions to society. Today, we honor their memory with gratitude and renewed commitment to uphold their legacies,” he stated.

The ceremony will features tributes, prayers, and cultural presentations, as guests join the Babajide family in reaffirming the lasting impact of Deaconess Alice Babajide and Pa. Babajide Fadonugbo on Ipokia Kingdom and beyond.
