In celebration of Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu's birthday, the Ogun Central Senatorial District Women Group organized a special interfaith prayer session dedicated to the senator and the people of Ogun State.

Muslim prayers were led by Imam Abdul Kabir from Osiele, along with Imam Sulaiman Akilapa and Imam Sugar from Odeda and Orile Ilugun, respectively, who, along with other imams, offered heartfelt supplications for the senator’s health, wisdom, and success in delivering more benefits to the people.
Representatives from various women’s groups, including Amazing Mothers, SAS Amazons, Iyalabake Women Group, Achievers Progressive Women, and SAS Babes from the six local governments, joined Ogun Central local government women leaders in offering prayers and praising Senator Salisu for his impactful representation.
Notable women leaders in attendance included the Vice Chairwomen of Abeokuta South, Abeokuta North, and Ifo Local Governments, as well as Alhaja Bisola Aliu, the vice chairwoman of Ewekoro local government and the APC Senatorial Woman leader.
The convener of the program, Hon. Dr. Folasade Adeyemo, who is also the Odeda Local Government Chairman and Deputy ALGON National Welfare Secretary, described Senator Salisu as a compassionate leader dedicated to the welfare of Ogun Central residents.
"Within his first year in office, Senator Salisu has established multiple ICT centers across the six local governments in Ogun Central. He has also organized over seven empowerment programs for women and youths, providing cash grants, laptops, and other valuable resources," she stated.
"The past two years have been transformative, and the senator has vowed to do even more for our people. His commitment to development and empowerment is truly commendable."
Many attendees shared positive testimonials about Senator Salisu’s leadership. Members of SAS Babes, a women's support group, expressed their gratitude for his inclusive governance and empowerment initiatives.
"Senator Salisu has demonstrated genuine care for the people. Through his programs, many of our members have received laptops and financial assistance to enhance their businesses. We are proud to celebrate his 61st birthday with prayers and appreciation," remarked a representative from SAS Babes.
The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony in honor of Senator Salisu’s 61st birthday, symbolizing unity and goodwill among the people of Ogun Central.
This interfaith prayer session reinforced the collective call for sustained progress and development under Senator Salisu’s representation while celebrating his significant contributions to the senatorial district.
