This is an initiative to contribute to the fight against COVID-19 Spread.
Kreateng, a Lagos based IT company in partnership with African Centre of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases (ACEGID) – Redeemer’s University, developed and launched a COVID-19 Self e-Screening assessment Tool for individuals in Nigeria.
Prof. Christian Happi, Director, ACEGID and his team alongside Adedayo Okunfolami, CEO Kreateng and Team worked on the Project using scientific and public health evidence to electronically screen Nigerians through questionnaire and provide further guidance that is specific to each user of the e-Screening check tool based on responses provided.
Emergency contact details where also provided for all states in Nigeria, if symptoms require blood sample testing.
It is hoped that the e-screening tool kit will assist reduce panic, whilst aiding those who need to see specialists quicker and reducing response time
The reason why we developed the Self e-Screening tool is to fill a void that we observed.
And we strongly believe to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria, we need a combination of innovation and information technology, in addition to other conventional methods.
