"For certain is death for the born, And certain is birth for the dead; Therefore over the inevitable, Thou shouldst not grieve".... Bhagavad Gita 250 B.C.-----A.D.250.

The Kano Emirate has expressed their heartfelt condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari, over the demise of his loyal friend and former chief of staff, late Malam Abba Kyari who died on 17th April 2020, having tested positive to the deadly coronavirus last month.

In a letter of condolence addressed to the President Buhari, signed on behalf of Kano Emirate and the good people of the ancient Kingdom, by the newly appointed Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Bayero; described the death of Malam Abba Kyari "as a great loss not only to Mr. President and the immediate family of the deceased but also to the entire nation, if we  consider the enormous contributions of late Abba Kyari in establishing a solid foundation for the present civilian administration".

The 15th Emir of Kano, who called the late Chief of Staff a 'Nationalist' acknowledged, that Abba Kyari "served the country diligently to the best of his ability in different capacities and his stewardship in nation building will remain indelible in the history of this country".

The highly respected monarch prayed for Allah to grant the family, the President and indeed Nigeria, the fortitude to bear the 'irreparable loss'  and also extend His Infinite Mercy to the deceased by granting him 'eternal rest in Aljannatul Firduasi'.
