SAGAMU LG COMMENCES PALLIATIVES ON RURAL ROADS

Rural dwellers in Sagamu Local Government Areas will soon breathe a sigh of relief, as Hon. Gbenga Banjo led administration has commenced palliative measures on rural roads for easy human and vehicular movements.
Hon. Banjo disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in his Office at Sagamu, saying, his administration has prioritized rehabilitation of rural roads, in line with his manifesto and the need to bring dividends of democracy to the people of the Local Government.
He added that the Council commenced the palliative work at Major Thompson junction to Sabo junction, assuring that it would be extended to other parts of the Local Government Area.
"I see the suffering our People are facing on these roads. We are happy to complement what his Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun is doing in terms of rehabilitating and construction of roads across the State. It is expected of us to do so in our domain by Rehabilitating our Local Roads", he said.
 Chairman of an Engineering Plant, Engr. Taiwo Enifeni, said the intervention was commendable, as it addressed yearnings of residents in the area.
Appreciating the Chairman for improving the state of the roads, residents in the area, Mr. Tunji Akinwunmi and Mrs. Fatimat Jimoh, recalled that commuters encounter lots of stress while plying the roads, appealing to the State Government to expedite action on other areas of the town before the raining season.
