CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN BEST STANDARD - OGUN HoS URGES WORKERS

Workers in the Ogun State Civil /Public Service have been called upon to keep the flag of the State flying, in order to maintain the best standard that Ogun State is known for.

The appeal was made by the Ogun State Head of Service, Alhaja Selimot  Ottun while speaking with journalists in her office, on the resumption of workers after the Christmas/ New year break declared by the State Government.

Alhaja Ottun who was full of praises and thanks to God for sparing the lives of the workers, despite all the odds recorded in the outgone year, appreciated the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for believing in the Civil Service and creating enabling environment for them to thrive in their chosen careers.

The Head of Service also used the opportunity to call on income generating Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to remain focused, dedicated and not at loggerheads with the political heads of their MDAs, but be on the same page with them, in order to move the State forward.

While thanking all Permanent Secretaries and Directors for their loyalty in the outgone year, Alhaja Ottun sought more for the workers' cooperation with one another and charged them to continually think outside the box for maximum results, with a promise that the Civil Service would not disappoint the government.

On the issue of the second wave of the coronavirus that is ravaging the world, the Head of Service admonished workers to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of curbing the pandemic, by washing their hands regularly, using hand sanitizers frequently, wearing face masks, avoiding crowded places and report to the nearest hospital for medical attention, when needed
