The Editor of TMnews Magazine, Temidayo Babalola has paid a courtesy visit to the newly elected Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Ogun State, Comrade Abdullahi Lawal in Abeokuta where he assured him of his total support towards the success of his administration.

During the visit, Babalola commended the chairman on his emergence, describing it as a product of hard work, commitment, resilience and unwavering dedication to community service. He noted that Lawal’s leadership qualities and track record made him deserving of the position.
He further described the chairman as a pride of Ogun West, expressing optimism about the region’s growing political relevance. Babalola added that with the expectation of Ogun West producing the next governor of Ogun State in 2027, there would be stronger collaboration between the PCRC and the government, which would enhance smooth and effective delivery of its objectives.
The TMnews editor also expressed confidence in the ability of the new chairman to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community, while promoting peace and security across Ogun State.

Babalola offered prayers for a successful and impactful tenure, wishing the chairman wisdom, strength and guidance in the discharge of his duties.

In his response, Comrade Abdullahi Lawal appreciated the visit and the show of support, noting that collaboration with stakeholders, including the media, remains key to achieving the goals of the PCRC in the state.

The visit highlights the importance of partnership between the media and community-based organizations in fostering public trust, accountability, and effective policing.
