In a recent development, Cdr Hammed Salau has been appointed as the new Ota Divisional Commander (DC) of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE). Known for his cool demeanor, discipline, and operational efficiency, Cdr Salau officially resumed duty on June 30, 2025.
Cdr Salau will be overseeing the division's activities under the guidance of Corridor Commander Cdr Olaoke, while Cdr Adekunle Ariyo Ajibade, the Ogun West Zonal Commander, will provide broader supervision. He takes over from Cdr Victoria Olaoke, who has been elevated to the rank of Corridor Commander within the zone.
With extensive experience in various capacities within TRACE, particularly in operations, Cdr Salau is well-prepared to lead the division. Stakeholders are optimistic that his leadership will bring enhanced structure and progress to traffic management in Ota.
