Ibrahim Dende Applauds President Tinubu, Senator Yayi, Over Upgrading FedPoly Ilaro To University Status

The Oluomo of Yewaland and Chairman, IBD Impex Ltd/IBD International Hotels Ltd, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for upgrading the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, to a Federal University of Technology.

He also commended the Distinguished Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi for his efforts in making the project a reality. 

"This development is seen as a significant achievement for Yewaland and Ogun West, highlighting the impact of effective advocacy and leadership"

In a statement by his spokesman, Elder Adetokunbo Fakeye, IBD Dende, as he is fondly called in social circles, described the new Institution's status as cheering, adding that it is a plus for Yewaland

"As Oluomo of Yewaland, I most sincerely, on behalf of the entire indigenes, extend our appreciation to Mr. President for this great gift. I also commend our own God-given, industrious son of Yewaland, Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi (Aremo of Yewaland), who presented and facilitated the bill before the floor of the House.

"My warmest congratulations go to our Paramount Ruler and Olu of Ilaro, HRM Oba Kehinde Olugbenle MFR, and all Ogun West people," the statement concluded.
