Akinlade Mourns the Passing of Oniko of Ikolaje Idiroko

Hon. Adekunle Akinlade has condoled with the royal family and people of Ikolaje-Idiroko, Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State, over the passing of HRM Oba John Olakunle Ojo, the Oniko of Ikolaje and described the monarch as a pillar of unity and progress, praising his humility, wisdom, and dedication to community development, TMnews report. 

Acccording to the press statement made available to the media "Former Member of the House of Representatives and agric-entrepreneur, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba John Olakunle, the Oniko of Ikolaje, Idiroko, Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State"

"The revered monarch transitioned peacefully to join his ancestors earlier today, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of leadership, service, and unwavering commitment to the development of his people and community. His reign was marked by humility, wisdom, progress, and a tireless dedication to the welfare of his subjects".

"Reflecting on the monarch's life, Hon. Akinlade stated: "His Royal Majesty was more than a traditional ruler. He was a pillar of unity and progress. He was accessible, compassionate, and consistently stood with his people. His passion for community development and his unwavering belief in the potential of Ogun West were evident in all he did. He will be sorely missed."

"Triple A, as fondly known, extended his heartfelt condolences to the royal family, the people of Ikolaje - Idiroko, Ipokia, and the entire Ogun State. He offered prayers for God’s grace to comfort the bereaved and grant the departed monarch eternal rest"

Akinlade prayed for God's comfort for the bereaved family and eternal rest for the departed monarch.

"May the Almighty accept Kabiyesi’s return, and may his memory continue to inspire those he has left behind," Akinlade concluded.
