KENNY HAYPHUA TO RELEASE COLLABORATIVE ALBUM WITH MOTHER, MOTAYO IN APRIL

For about a year now, the Abeokuta born secular singer and entertainer, Kehinde Afuwape Philip popularly knows as Kenny Hayphua and his biological mother, Felicia Omotayo Afuwape, a gospel singer with the stage name, Motayo has been exchanging hit music collaborations under the productions of Olumix, Super-D. & Bonesquad.

We can recall very well that they both stormed the City People's 1st Ogun Entrepreneurship Awards in the middle of the year 2019 with some of their collaborative singles, where they received massive applauds from the kings, queens, top dignitaries among other celebrities present for their wonderful performance.

Kenny Hayphua made us know that his ambition towards the present
continuation of exchanging of collaborations with his 56 year old talented mother, Motayo is mainly to set up a joint album project with her, which is to be titled "Like Mother, Like Son" (L.M.L.S) in which they are also through with its studio productions from one track to another. Here the album is set to be released & launched on Sunday, April 26th 2020 live in the city of Abeokuta as programmed under his owned label/management, Fruits House Entertainment (F.H.E) a music and events management company.

He disclosed all these to us in a recent interview with him after the huge acceptance of his latest single, TOGETHER which features his mother, Motayo. It is so glaring that he has been blessed for releasing this particular hit song early October 2019 because he has been seen performing at notable shows, concerts, parties e.t.c. in and out of the state consistently, storming the stages with Motayo most times, while their music has also been on air plays constantly.

Asking the identical twin brother, Kenny Hayphua if there would be any appearance of guest artistes in the joint album? He answers: "Well... Yes! I think we may have like one to two guest artistes to feature in it, but that is still under probability. Meanwhile, the album will be nothing short of 75% dancehall."

The F.H.E. Musik boss and frontline artiste, Kenny Hayphua tried to clarify to us that he and his mother, Motayo are not to be seen as a group just as the likes of Bracket, D.N.A., 2sec amongst other duo singers. He explains further: "I'm a song writer and performing artiste on my own, same as Motayo on her own, we just decided to come up with the concept of making a joint album project. I could remember that Olamide and Phyno also released a joint album sometimes ago, Tope Alabi & TY Bello recently did the same thing, do we because of that start calling them a group or duo singers? No! Some shows will request for just my performance because I have my personal owned songs that has nothing to do with neither my mum nor this coming L.M.L.S. album in question, while some shows of course will request for our joint performances and we will go there together to storm the stage with our collaborative singles like we always do, and God Almighty is always supporting us."
Kenny Hayphua added that he will still be releasing his own personal album as time goes on.

Asking to know where he and his mother can be seen performing their songs? He said: "Yes, you can see us perform at celebration gatherings, shows, anniversary, conference, convention, musical concert and so on."

And finally he was asked what to be expected from them before and after the releasing of the "Like Mother, Like Son" album project? He answers: "While we keep up with the studio production works, we have some notable performances on the way, we will still work with the hit maker, K-Solo, K-bass as well, or even more; so also we trust to release music videos just after releasing the album. May God help us."

@kennyhayphua_fhe appreciate their fans, supporters and lovers, as he promises an impressive joint album with his dear mother, Motayo.
