SO-SAFE APPREHENDS NOTORIOUS KIDNAP KINGPIN TERRORIZING OGUN COMMUNITIES
The Ogun State Government owned grassroots security Outfit, Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps otherwise known as So-Safe Corps has arrested Bature Ibrahim, a notorious kidnap syndicate who has been creating security unrest in Oke-Ogun axis in the State.
The arrest effected which is contained in a press statement issued by the State Commander of the Corps , Commander Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information of the Corps ACC Moruf Yusuf said that "the Officers and Men of Olorunda Post of the Corps under Oke-Ogun Division were put on their toes few weeks back and the Directorate of Operation of the Corps also instructed to secure the identified black spots across the state and to also revisit the records of suspected kidnappers to effect their arrests".
Meanwhile, Bature was arrested on Saturday 15th January, 2022 at 06:05hrs along Olorunda-Imala road on his attempt to escape through Olorunda Town after he might have heard his name has been mentioned by his counterparts who are in the custody of the Nigeria Police Anti Kidnapping Department, State Headquarter, Eleweran, Ogun State.
The suspect and the items found on him were clothes and naira cash had been handed over to the Nigeria Police Anti Kidnapping Department, State Headquarter, Eleweran, Ogun State Command by the Corps and the Seriki Fulani of Olorunda Town same day at 08:32hrs for further investigation and likely prosecution.
