LOCKDOWN ORDER: POLICE, TRACE DOUBLE EFFORTS TO ENFORCE STRICT COMPLIANCE

The Ogun Security Chiefs, Police, TRACE, So-Safe Corps have urged their Areas and Tactical Commanders, DPO's across the state to double efforts in enforcing strict compliance and never relent at ensuring Governments strategies to get rid of Covid-19.

The TRACE Ota Area 4 Commander, Adekunle Ajibade in a chat with pressmen who monitored the level of compliance in Ota and Idiroko Border axis, confirmed the directives of the TRACE State Commander, Seni Ogunyemi inline with the Ogun State Government Security architecture as the number of cases increases, stating that "we have buckled up to our responsibilities to curb unauthorized vehicular movements and those roaming about unduly".

Ajibade noted that people should know that Corona virus is real and spread faster which God for-bid goes out of control will be so ferocious and cause total shut down of the system as against the lockdown now experienced.

He enjoined the residents in Ogun State to be law abiding and strictly adhere to government's order at this critical period adding that every one should stay at home and use the opportunity to pray fervently.

The Owode Divisional Police Officer, SP Olabisi Elebute added that more efforts are been applied to enforce strict compliance at the axis as people around the border are so adamant adding that she has doubled her efforts also to do the needful for government to achieve the set goal.

Meanwhile, the DPO, Onipanu Divisional Headquarter, CSP Job Bamidele said his team has been working assiduously both morning and night as the case in Ota has increased to five urging people to obey government's order to alleviate this pandemic.

"The rate at which the number is increasing is so alarming which is sending wrong  signal to everyone saying this is enough to set necessary precautions by staying at home" Bamidele added.
