Honourable Zakariya Dauda Nyampa Representing Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency during the Tuesday plenary called on fellow lawmakers to unite against Boko Haram insurgents.
Dauda at the floor of the House stood up to call for an urgent public interest over the incessant attacks by the renegade Boko Haram members who recently unleashed terror to the community of Garkida in Adamawa State.
According to him not quite long he laid a complain that the Boko Haram have attacked Michika/Madagali Communities and nothing has been done.
Recall Dauda lamented that the Military personnels in surveillance to the people of Michika and Madagali are not up to thirty in defence of about a million population.
Lamenting on the constant attacks to the communities of Adamawa State,he blamed the house Community chairman on Army and the Nigerian soldiers for doing nothing about it.
He said there must be Peace before they can settle down as Lawmakers to do what is being expected of them to do.
“In this House we moved for the sacking of the security chiefs and nothing has been done, we will reach to a point where every house will have their security outfit as it is happening in South West with the Amotekun security structure if nothing is done.” Dauda said
He reminded them of their primary assignment of oversight functions to what the executive arm of government is doing, especially the military which much has been given to them and much is being expected from them.
