The Secretariat has keenly observed the indiscriminate use of the name of the association and therefore shuns it bluntly. It should be reiterated that the organization is an ideological association with high degree of integrity and public image to be proud of.
In a bid to protect the interest and public image of our association, some investigations have been done and we have found out that the unknown elements parading themselves with the plate number of NANS are mostly internet fraudsters and non students. We hereby use this medium to dissociate the association from these illegitimate users.
As a pragmatic association, the office of the National Public Relation Officer of the association has set up a committee of task force to properly investigate and ensure the arrest of all illegitimate users of the plate number across the nation particularly in Ogun state.
The committee which is to be chaired by Comr. Falola Ahmed would have Comr. Okereafor Bestman as its secretary with Ogun JCC Chairman and NAOSS Ogun National President as automatic members. This committee shall directly report to the office of the NANS National PRO in all its actions.
The list of the Committee members and the petition to address the unlawful act shall be submitted to all necessary security agencies in the state.
We therefore warn all illegitimate persons using the association's name as their vehicles' plate number to report themselves and handover all the plate numbers in their possession to the national Secretariat of NANS or the assigned committee for this special assignment on or before Wednesday, 8TH of July, 2020.
We want to assert that any illegitimate user caught by the Committee shall be duly prosecuted at the court of law.
Finally, names of respective chairman and secretaries of other southwest states shall be compiled and made public during the week.
