Markets in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja can now open between 10am and 2pm daily - These are markets in states where a lockdown was imposed - Also, supermarkets and food stores are also allowed to open between 10am and 4pm In a move to ease the burden placed on residents of Lagos, FCT and Ogun states, the federal government has announced that all markets in these states will be allowed to open between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm daily.

his was disclosed by the national co-ordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19, Aliyu Sani, Channels TV reports. “For markets, only shops and stalls selling food and groceries shall be allowed to open to customers between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm,” he said. Going further, he said supermarkets and food stores are allowed to operate between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
